Why do I need mediation?

Are you in the middle of a divorce, and seeking an alternative to an expensive trial in court?  I can help you save thousands of dollars in legal fees and get your case resolved and settled quickly.  In a dispute between two (or sometimes more) parties, it’s important to have a competent mediator who facilitates the complexity of the conflict and assists in generating solutions. I am also experienced in resolving other types of disputes, including property & asset division, parenting plans in high conflict families, civil lawsuits, temporary orders/modifications, and small claims court. About Marcel Gamboa

I has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 22 years and I bring a vast experience providing care and resolutions to individual, couples and families. As a Credentialed Advanced Mediator, I am ready to help you achieve the resolution you need. I am certified to conduct family/divorce, civil mediation, modification, parenting plans and more. Combining expertise and compassion, I have been successful at assisting parties reaching agreements and keeping them out of courts.

Location and Hours

Most mediations are conducted via zoom. If all parties prefer in person mediation, it can be arranged on a location near you or at my office locations in Katy and west Houston. Hours are flexible and include weekends if it works for all parties.

Expertise in Divorce Mediation

I provide court ordered and voluntary mediation to help parties resolve difficulties disputes. Most parties reach what we call a Mediated Settlement Agreement (MSA) that is binding for court and avoids a costly trial.

Other Mediation Services

Civil mediation, parenting plans, pre-nuptial agreements, property division, and small claims court services are also available. I specialize in Parenting Coordination and Facilitation, something that is often encouraged or required by the court in high conflict custody cases.
